After the ALS, I had the opportunity to undergo other Milestone Trainings programmes. One of them was Living Everyday in Abundance and Prosperity, or LEAP. I did LEAP in 2013. My mind was enriched, through LEAP, with knowledge of things that I did not even know that I did not know! Many possibilities opened up for me and I acquired tools that require simple practice and discipline to ensure that I am indeed living my life everyday in abundance and prosperity! I signed up for Living Everyday in Abundance and Prosperity because I wanted to have a better understanding of how money can flow abundantly to me in my life. I learned to confront my subconscious beliefs about money. I realised that I had a scarcity conversation about money. I had been telling myself that money is hard to get, that I had to work hard for my money, and that was why money could not flow easily to me. Since the moment I changed my perspective about money, I noticed that things have been different for me. I felt more open and ready to receive good things for myself. I felt grateful and thankful for all that I have and eager to create bigger things in my life. I worry so much less about not having enough. LEAP taught me to create an abundant and prosperous life. Many people who come across the I am still learning to practise the law of attraction - which was all the rage then, and is still widely spoken about in the world today - find that it is all words and concept. Although LEAP was not a training on the law of attraction, it resulted in my experiencing the things that appeared in my thoughts to materialise in my physical world. Through the experiential exercises during LEAP, I began to understand what it meant for my thoughts to attract the results in my life. My consciousness and awareness expanded and overflowed into other opportunities in life that took me further towards living the life I dream of. Through LEAP, I have also learned the importance of working with both the left and the right sides of my brain. This is something very significant for me, because I am actually living that now! From a full-time lawyer whose major brain principles of LEAP, but already, I have noticed that my experience of many things in my life seems to have become lighter and easier. One of the principles I began to explore was the power of affirmation. I have discovered that there is a kind of “magic” that just works in its own way. Sometimes, I feel like the universe does conspire to ensure that I live in prosperity. I have noticed that the power of the mind and the law of attraction is not just theory, and sometimes, I can’t decide if I am amazed or freaked out! LEAP taught me about being enough. To be enough with what I have and to surrender to it. My experience in LEAP has extended beyond the money issue that I started with. In my relationships, I have learned to be grateful for and appreciate the exercises were on the left side of people who love me, accepting my brain, I am now the proud owner of my own firm that does both Employment Law and Art, tapping into both sides of my brain. As a result, I have found a way to create a work-life balance for myself as well as for my clients and their employees. The incorporation of law and art had always been my dream.
